Our Abreview program allows you to help other scientists by sharing your knowledge on how our products worked in your application and species.

?How do I submit an Abreview?

?To submit an Abreview, first sign into your account (if you are already signed in, your name will appear in the gray bar at the top of this webpage).

??On the submission form, you can add information about how you used the product, your feedback, an image, and your star rating. You also need to supply the product code, and either an Abcam order number or Lot number.

?If you are short on time, you can save at any point and return later. All uncompleted submissions can be accessed in My account: Abreviews.

Get rewarded for every Abreview

For every Abreview you submit, you will receive Abpoints (terms and conditions below) once the Abreview is published. These can be exchanged for the rewards listed below.

You will receive between 50 and 120 Abpoints for each review: the less characterized the product you review, the more Abpoints you will receive. Submitting an image will earn you an additional 100 Abpoints.

How do I exchange Abpoints for rewards?

First, check how many validated Abpoints you have at My account: Abpoints. Terms and conditions for Abpoints are below.

Then choose a reward from the list of available rewards displayed on that page. You will only see rewards that you have enough Abpoints for.

To request your reward, click on the “Get reward” link. Follow the instructions, and confirm your request. You will get an email confirmation of your request. You should receive the reward within about 30 days. If you have a problem or question with Abpoints, please send an email to abpoints@abcam.com.

What are Abreviews for?

??We will display your Abreview on our website and may use some or all of it, including the image, within other material destined for our customers, eg flyers.

If we know that the product doesn’t work with a specific application or species we will post the review but not include it in the overall star rating calculation.

Abreviews for more than one application or species

For antibodies, you may submit one Abreview per product, application and species combination. For other product types you may only submit one Abreview per product.

Image criteria

Images should be submitted as either GIF, JPEG, TIFF or PNG at a resolution of 300dpi and with a file size of < 1Mb. You need only submit your best image for each Abreview.

Negative Abreviews

?We do publish negative Abreviews and give the appropriate number of Abpoints. This is because, reports of a product not working in a specific combination of application and species are also useful to our customers, so that they can buy and use a product with as much supporting information as possible.

However, before we publish any negative Abreviews, it is extremely important to make sure that the content of the report is correct. Therefore, we usually request further information from the customers and investigate each case. If the product is faulty then we offer a replacement vial or reimbursement. If we are convinced that the experimental conditions are correct, then we certainly publish the negative report with an additional Abcam note.

In case we are not convinced that the negative Abreviews is scientifically correct (not enough data, incompatible secondary antibody, not having valid batch number and/or purchase order number), we will not publish the Abreview.

Rewarding and publishing process

?Once submitted, a member of our experienced Scientific Support team will authorise your Abreview (including image) for publication. If they believe that any of the information which you have submitted is inconsistent or the image is not of a high enough quality, then they will ask you to correct this.

?Once they are happy that the Abreview contains accurate data, then they will publish it and authorise your Abpoints.

Abpoints Terms and Conditions

1. Abcam plc, Discovery Drive, Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Cambridge, CB2 0AX, UK is the promoter of the Abcam Loyalty Programme.
2. ?Abpoints can only be exchanged for available rewards. Abcam reserves the right to amend this list at any time without notice.
3. For delivery times, please see individual rewards.
4. ?In the unlikely event of a reward not being available, Abcam reserves the right to: Ask you to choose an alternative gift, available for the same number of Abpoints or to return your Abpoints.
5. ?Points are allocated to your Abcam account. Your account is linked to your email address – please keep your email address updated.
6. ?Abcam does not accept liability for lost Abpoints or rewards.
7. ?In the case of termination, you will have 90 days from the notice date of programme termination to exchange any Abpoints as per the terms and conditions of the Programme. Unless specified otherwise, no additional Abpoints will be able to be accrued during this Termination period. Abcam will reasonably endeavour to communicate to all members the termination period, however we will not be held responsible for failing to notify any individual regardless of the reason.
8. ?Each Abpoint has a cash equivalent of $0.0001.
9. ?It is the sole responsibility of the account holder to ensure that the collection and redemption of Abpoints does not contravene their contract of employment or any local laws regarding sales promotion or sales incentive schemes.
10. ?An individual can join the Programme once only. An individual maintaining multiple accounts can be removed from the Programme, at the sole discretion of Abcam.
11. ??As a member you agree to provide only true and accurate information to the Abcam Loyalty Programme (including its advertisers and partners) at all times.
12. By enrolling in or using the Abcam Loyalty Programme you agree that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and that your membership in the Programme will conform to them.
13. ?Abpoints are issued with an expiry date. If they are not exchanged for rewards before this date, then they will expire and become invalid.
14. ?Unless otherwise specifically notified, Abpoints can only be earned via the Abcam web site and through following all instructions regarding earning Abpoints. An individual's failure to correctly follow any required instructions or procedures may result in no Abpoints being earned, for which the account holder will have no recourse against Abcam or any participating companies.
15. ?If Abpoints are earned as a result of purchasing product(s) from Abcam, Abcam reserves the right to withdraw the allocation of the earned Abpoints to the individual's account, if payment for the purchased product(s) does not meet Abcam's terms and conditions of purchase and payment. You will not hold Abcam responsible for the non-collection of any monies due in relation to your Abpoints and the subsequent removal of Abpoints from your account for this reason.
16. ?You are responsible for assessing any tax implications that may arise through collecting and/or exchanging Abpoints and for the payment of any said taxes.
17. ??For authorisation and redemption purposes, you will be required to identify yourself through your email address and password. For the avoidance of doubt, any individual logging in with a correct username and password will have full access to that account, and it is the sole responsibility of the account holder to ensure that this information is not made available to unauthorised individuals.
18. ??The sale or barter of Abpoints is strictly prohibited by Abcam.
19. ?Abcam's privacy policy applies.
20. ?The Abcam Loyalty Programme is being offered to individuals "as is" with no warranty to the maximum extent as permitted by the law. Abcam disclaims any representation and warranties, express or implied, with respect to the programme, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for any particular purpose.
21. ?We may from time to time adjust your Abpoints upwards or downwards in respect to accounting errors, non-payment, multiple accounts, refunds issued, products returned or suspected fraud, for which we have full authority.
22. ?An individual's participation and acceptance into the Abcam Loyalty Programme is subject to these terms and conditions and participation may be refused at the sole discretion of Abcam without recourse. Any fraud or abuse of the system will result in the immediate termination of that account and total forfeit of any Abpoints accrued.
23. ?All questions or dispute regarding the Abcam Loyalty Programme, including without limitation, questions regarding participation and eligibility must be submitted in writing within 90 days of the query where applicable, to Abcam, Discovery Drive, Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Cambridge, CB2 0AX, UK. Any such dispute will be resolved by Abcam at their sole discretion. All interpretations of these terms and conditions shall be at the sole discretion of Abcam. In the event of an error by Abcam your sole recourse will be the crediting of any disputed Abpoints.
24. ??For the avoidance of doubt, these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the laws and jurisdiction of England. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent possible, and the other provisions contained herein will remain in full force and effect. Abcam's failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any condition shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed as forming a partnership or joint venture either with individuals enrolled in the Abcam Loyalty Programme. No third party company will have the right or ability to create any obligation on Abcam's behalf. This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Abcam in regards to the Abcam Loyalty Programme.
